NOW SHOWING AT THE GONE WITH THE WIND MUSEUM IN BRANSON, MISSOURI

Located in Historic Downtown Branson at 109 E. Main Street (417-239-3990), this has certainly become a wonderful addition to the popular tourist destination!

The museum showcases the collection of Dr. Novella Perrin of Warrensburg, Missouri. Dr. Perrin has been collecting GWTW memorabilia for over 25 years. Among her collection, one will find original costumes, props, autographs, costume sketches, foreign and domestic lobby cards and posters, research materials, and art work. The museum also hosts a large display of GWTW dolls and other memorabilia based on the movie.

The GRAND OPENING for the museum is scheduled for August 19th and 20th , 2011.

FRIDAY (19th):
-- 2:00 p.m. the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place with the Branson Chamber of Commerce.
-- 2:30-6:00 ~ Admission to the Museum will be FREE during this time.
-- 2:30-4:00 ~ Guests can meet MICKEY KUHN (Beau Wilkes at age 7) and PATRICK CURTIS (Beau Wilkes as a toddler) from GONE WITH THE WIND for pictures and autographs at the Museum.

SATURDAY (20th)
-- 10:00-6:00 ~ FREE admission to the Museum

Location for the following events will be in the Old Glory Rooms A and B at the Hilton across the street from the Museum.
-- 9:00-10:00 a.m. AND 2:00-3:00 p.m.
~~ "Margaret Mitchell and Gone With the Wind" presented by Novella Perrin, Ph.D., Owner.
-- 10:15-11:00 a.m. AND 3:15-4:00 p.m.
~~ "Gone With the Wind in 20 Minutes" presented by Doug Lothes from Palm Springs, CA.
-- 11:15 - 12:30 p.m. AND 4:15-5:30 p.m.
~~ Meet the Stars MICKEY KUHN and PATRICK CURTIS for videos and stories by the actors themselves. Limited autograph session.
