MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
Here it is, already, almost the end of 2015 as we wonder how has this year passed by so quickly. Although it certainly has not been the best year for the United States, we will be praying that God gives our leadership guidance for the coming new year. With so many US citizens afraid of what lies ahead for us, we must remember that inner peace comes from faith in our blessed Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Christmas is the time when we become more aware of the blessings we have as a result of the birth of Jesus. We should remember that He came not to a throne, but to a manger. He lived not as a king, but as a servant. He chose not a kingdom, but a cross. He gave not just a little ... but, everything. May the miracle of that first Christmas that brought Him to us live within us all, not only during the Christmas season, but every day forward.
During this time of the year, we hope you will remember those families who are missing loved ones this year, for various reasons. Think of them and their sadness at the loss of those they can't hug and talk with this Christmas. As we do that, we should give thanks to our heavenly father for allowing us to share this season with our loved ones who are still with us.
May the heart of Christmas -- the love of Jesus, the joy of grace, and the peace of God -- be yours today and always! May the Lord's greatest love bless you this Christmas.
Please take a moment and remember the reason for His birth: "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
