The Bradford Exchange is in the middle of doing a customer-response test on this new "fan plate", entitled "Vixen in Velvet". This is the first issue of a series of sculptured porcelain Scarlett dress fan plates. It is elegantly appointed with 22-karat gold embellishments, sparkling emerald "gemstone", and a genuine silken tassel. In the midst of a lady's fashion fan is Scarlett herself by artist Chris Notarile. (If this painting looks familiar, it is, as this was Oval Plate No. 2 in the retired Cameo Series, and was entitled "Steel Magnolias".)

The fan plate will measure 10-1/2 inches wide by 5-3/4 inches tall and will sell for $40.99. Although it will not be available for a few months, we are taking orders for it.
