Have you ever wondered what kind of a house was Margaret Mitchell's home while she was growing up in Atlanta? This photo shows Margaret in front of the Peachtree house with her friend, Augusta Dearborn, who later remembered ... Not only did Margaret Mitchell instruct that all her papers be destroyed after her death, she also left instructions that her house on Peachtree Street be destroyed after her brother, Stephens, was through with it.
