I was pleasantly surprised to see the beauty of this particular piece, Plate No. 3 in the "Scarlett's World" series. This plate has Scarlett in the blue and white mill dress (my favorite costume!) and Aunt Pittypat's house as the 3-dimensional building attached to the plate.
Although this piece is entitled "Aunt Pittypat's", the gold plate on the front says "Peachtree".
Note: I have to admit, from a collector's standpoint, I find what they done with this particular series a little confusing. I do not understand their reasoning for the pairing of these plates with the buildings they have chosen. What does the red party dress Scarlett wore to Ashley's birthday party have to do with Twelve Oaks? What does the blue and white mill dress have to do with Auntpitty Pat's house in Atlanta? Oh, well, we'll just have to throw all reasoning to 'the wind' and enjoy these lovely collectibles! We'll think about Bradford Exchange's reasoning tomorrow ... after all, tomorrow is another day.
