A wonderful response from the GWTW community was certainly noted at the official Grand Opening of the "Scarlett on the Square" Museum in Marietta, Georgia this past weekend. Although the Friday outdoor activities were dampened by the rain, the enthusiasm of the attendees was definitely not dampened. Mother Nature cooperated on Saturday and everything went just fine.

In attendance in support of this special celebration of the new collection of Dr. Chris Sullivan of Akron, Ohio, were CAMMIE KING CONLON (Bonnie Blue Butler), FRED CRANE (Brent Tarleton), PATRICK CURTIS (Baby Beau Wilkes) and MICKEY KUHN (Beau Wilkes at age 7). The response from the public was soooo much more than expected and City Officials of Marietta were extremely pleased with the weekend attendance and participation.

Seen in the photo above, at the Saturday morning "Breakfast With the Stars", are Cammie King Conlon, Patrick Curtis, and Mickey Kuhn. Since we can only put one photo per page with this software package, be sure to CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW to see Dr. Chris Sullivan (owner of the collection), Terry Crane (Fred's wife) and Fred Crane (Brent Tarleton).

Holly CothranDrake, Museum Director, couldn't have been more pleased with the participation of the 4 actors from GWTW. The "Breakfast With the Stars" had a wonderful response and attendees enjoyed more than 2 hours of questions and answers. It seems when the actors are all together, they "play off of each other" and give the listeners a wonderful time full of information, funny stories from behind the scenes, and just an overall great experience with them.

The afternoon private tour and autograph session was a super success. Cammie, Mickey and Patrick signed autographs for almost 4-1/2 hours without a break! The lines were so long that some of the people waited more than 2 hours for autographs and personal time with the stars, but they all said it was certainly worth the wait!

Congratulations to Chris, and the City of Marietta, for the success of this event. Everyone had a good time fellowshipping and enjoying the common thread among us all -- the love of Gone With the Wind!
