On August 11th, the 19th ANNUAL GOLDEN BOOT AWARDS were held at the Beverly Hilton and there were over 1,000 guests attending in support of the "Boot". The money raised from this lavish event goes to the Motion Picture & Television Fund and over the years, more than $5 million have been raised.
The photo above shows the Gone With the Wind group who attended this year's event: (from left to right)

JOHN CLARK GABLE (Clark Gable's son)

The 2001 event honored Eli Wallach, Andrew Prine, Barbara Hale, Alex Cord, Stuntman Loren Janes, and Chuck Norris.
CLARK GABLE was the recipient of the Centennial Award and it was presented to John Clark Gable on behalf of his famous father. The show was procduced by Patrick Curtis and was a marvelous success!!
P.S. Whatever Phyllis Callow's secret is to the 'fountain of youth', I'd sure love to know!! Look at her ... do the math .... GWTW was released in 1939!!!
