It is time once again for autumn's colors and delights.
For colorful leaves and for brisk, windswept nights.
Maybe you'll light up the fireplace or take a long walk.
Spend time with your loved ones and let your hearts talk.
We hope you enjoy the pleasures that come with Thanksgiving.
And create the memories that add deeper meaning to living.
As I sit here at my computer my thoughts are full of unpleasant memories from this time last year, but my heart is full of thanksgiving for mercies from God that brought us through to today. As many of you know, last year we spent 4 holidays in a row at the hospital and many nights wondering when Jim's illness would finally come to an end. But, God was good to us and what a difference a year makes!!
Jim and I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you will remember all of our military personnel in your Thanksgiving prayers. We will be so lucky to be with our families and friends, enjoying a great meal, while our military personnel risk their lives for our freedom on Thanksgiving as they do on a daily basis.
In the richness of the harvest and the beauty of the landscape, we see the Lord's work and offer Him our thanks for His bountiful blessings. HAVE A HAPPY AND PEACEFUL THANKSGIVING!
