HERB BRIDGES will be a speaker at the CLAYTON COUNTY DAY on March 14, 2009. We have been asked to pass the information on to you and they have provided the following information, which includes the complete schedule:

Celebrating CLAYTON'S 150th ANNIVERSARY
10 a.m.- 11 a.m. Living History Guild, Stately Oaks Plantation
11 a.m.- noon Ted Key, noted historian
Chick-Fil-A cow and giveaways
12 p.m.-1 p.m. Herb Bridges, historian and Gone With The Wind Expert
1p.m.- 2 p.m. Melly Meadows as Scarlett O’Hara
2 p.m.-3 p.m. Dig the Dog from The Beach
3 p.m.-3:30 p.m. National Archives presentation
3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Peter Bonner, Civil War and Gone With The Wind historian

Proceeds from a portion of the sales will go to the Celebrate Clayton's 150th celebration. The group is the official planning committee for the Clayton 150th celebration. Shoppers must present a coupon voucher in order for the committee to benefit from their sales. If you would like to help the committee raise money, you may go to http://www.celebrateclayton150.com/, calendar of events and you can download a flyer and voucher to bring in that day.
