TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES NAMES "MOST INFLUENTIAL" FILMS:
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) has released a list of the 15 most influential classic films of all time, films that helped shape the future of cinema. It's part of the network’s 15th Anniversary Celebration and part of a new online initiative. Each day, the network will post a fresh list of movie favorites and a new theme. Here's today's list:
1. The Birth of a Nation (1915)
2. Battleship Potemkin (1925)
3. Metropolis (1927)
4. 42nd Street (1933)
5. It Happened One Night (1934)
6. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
