RECORDED BOOKS is offering GWTW on 41 CD's for 49 hours of listening pleasure. Back in 2001 they released GWTW on audio tapes (36 cassettes, 50-1/2 hours), but this set is no longer available, and the CD set is a rerelease of the 2001 cassette version.

When talking with Recorded Books today, they have advised me they do not have the license to sell these CD's on a wholesale basis. So, in answer to those people who have asked me if GONE WITH THE MEMOREIS will have them to sell, unfortunately, they will not be available for us to purchase.

If you wish to purchase the CD set, they advised "the CD's are made up as they are ordered" and it takes a few days for them to make you a copy.
