We have just received an updated schedule for 70th Anniversary Celebration presented by the MARIETTA GONE WITH THE WIND MUSEUM so if you are interested in attending, please read through the following.

12:00-12:30 – World’s largest “Virginia Reel” in Glover Park on the Marietta Square. 70 costumed couples dance the famous ‘bazaar scene’ dance from Gone With the Wind. (Other surprise festivities to be included)

12:45 – 1:25 – Private lunch for celebrities at Strand Theatre

10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. – exhibit of 70th Anniversary GWTW artwork by Warner Bros. artist Joseph Yakovetic at museum & dk Gallery (artist will alternate time between the two locations) Live painting to be done for museum by artist.

4:30 – 4:55 p.m.– Gone With the Wind vintage car parade From Hilton to Strand Theatre with cast members and special guests
5:00-6:00 p.m. – VIP reception with celebrities
6:15-6:30 p.m. – Connie Sutherland, Earl Reece, Chris Sullivan offer acknowledgments
6:30 p.m. – Introduction of Robert Osborne by Connie Sutherland
6:30-7:30 p.m. – Salute to TCM and WB with introduction of cast members by Hollywood Historian and Host of Turner Classic Movies Robert Osborne followed by program to introduce movie
7:45 p.m. – Showing of world’s most beloved film: GONE WITH THE WIND
8:00 p.m. – Celebrity guests leave for private dinner and retire for evening

Note: The Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum will not be responsible for the cancellation of any cast member, author, or other celebrity scheduled to appear at the above event. No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation by one or more celebrity due to unforeseen circumstances.

The package ticket price of $325 pp imposed by the Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum and Earl Strand Theatre provides for all above activities during the 2-day event. Additional charges for photographs or autographs may be imposed by celebrities and are not associated with the Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum or any other attraction.
