I am so behind in my postings -- I can hardly believe it is April 1st already!
The 2010 Strawberry Festival is behind us now. It was great to see so many of our customers during the festival; it is almost like a homecoming every year, especially for those who come from out of the state. We only had to deal with two days of on/off rain and the crowds were good, as well. I do have to admit though, it was a little chilly for this Florida lady; I had a jacket and a coat, a blanket, and my heater behind the counter on more than one night. With being right at the door, there is just no way we could escape the cold winds.
The judges were kind to Gone With the Wind Memories again this year, as we were awarded the "Award of Distinction" for the Commercial Division for our efforts with our booth. It is certainly not my intention to seem like I am bragging, but the recognition is appreciated.
