Tomorrow, June 12th, vintage GWTW items will be up for auction in New York and they will include such things has one of Scarlett's costumes (one of 27 made for the same dress) that is expected to bring from $10-$15,000; a "rainbow" script containing many changes (however, this is only the last half of the script - what happened to the first half?); a coat supposedly worn by Ashley when he was returning home from the war; Grace Allen's copy of GWTW (June, 1936); and Marcella Rabwin's script. It will be interesting to see what these items will bring. I certainly wish I had the time to attend one of these auctions, but they are always in New York or California - a long way from Florida.
