John Wiley / Faye Bell / Herb Bridges
It was nice to be able to visit again with Herb Bridges and John Wiley during my recent trip to Atlanta. Herb Bridges, the author of many GWTW books (and the inside story is he is currently working on another one!) always is so friendly and makes eveyone feel so comfortable when you meet him. My customers from England who went with me, were so exicted to meet him. Of course, they have all his books and was so pleased he could authograph his new book, the paperback version of THE FILMING OF GONE WITH THE WIND for them to take back to England..
John Wiley, founder and editor of THE SCARLETT LETTER (a wonderful GWTW quarterly newsletter) enjoyed the festivities as well. John had a little edge on us, in that he drove down from Richmond and had a car at his disposal. However, with Jill and David who use the "tube" (as they call it in England), they were right at home using the MARTA system. This was a new "adventure" for me, but I was plesantly surprised at the nice surroundings and good service the MARTA provides to Atlanta.
