I have had so many people contact me regarding questions concerning my relocation to Cypress Gardens, so I have decided to try to keep you up-to-date via this board.
Plans are to close down the retail GWTW store in Plant City at the end of October. However, THIS DOES NOT AFFECT MY WEB SITE LOCATION IN ANY WAY. I will retain the Plant City location as the base for my web site business, as it will remain a separate business from the Cypress Gardens store.
It is hoped that I will be able to move everything and get the mansion completely stocked and ready to open about a week before Thanksgiving (if things were to go extremely well), but it will be officially open by Thanksgiving.
There are a thousand and one things to do before then and with my opening in high season, I will have to completely ready before I open the doors. The Magnolia Mansion has four different sections. There will be one section that will house my private collection and everything will be have a description with it (what a job -- over 1,400 pieces). There will also be one section that will cater to the serious collector, with this area having only retired items. In addition, there will be two more sections for the "regular" GWTW items.
Since GWTW Memories will be located in the Magnolia Mansion, magnolia items will also be available there -- from candle holders to afghans, there will be a large selection of magnolia goodies from which to choose.
