For the millions of Margaret Mitchell fans, today was a sad day of remembering the death of Peggy Mitchell Marsh. Hit by a drunken driver on August 11th, she died 5 days later.

Of course, for the Elvis fans, today was also the 23rd anniversary of his death, August 16, 1977.
