As I was closing the shop this evening at Cypress Gardens, I couldn't help but stop a minute to look at the front yard of the Magnolia Mansion which houses our exhibit and shop. The whole park has about 6 million lights - everywhere you could possibly think to put lights -- and it is almost breathtaking. However, for you "yankees" fighting the snow, when I got in this evening it was 73 degrees (9:30 p.m.). The weather was wonderful today, with more planned for tomorrow (high 70's, low 80's). I suppose many of you would think "how on earth could we be in the Christmas mood with temperatures in the high 70's", but we do manage somehow (chuckle) ...
The Christmas tree to the left of the photo, is 150 feet tall -- with 25,000 lights!
