Although this photo is dark and you can't see details of this musical -- believe me -- it is another great item just released by the San Francisco Music Box Company. The scene has Mammy getting ready to help Scarlett put the famous BBQ dress over her head. As with the other SF pieces released in 1999, this is of wonderful quality and unbelievable size for the price!!
The piece measures 9" wide, 7-1/2" deep, and 9-1/2" tall. Just to compare it in your mind, it is even larger than the one of Scarlett on the bench. You Mammy fans -- you'll just love this one. Again, as with the prices we have seen in the other pieces, the price is great too -- only $74.99. It also pays "Tara's Theme".
These were not to be released until mid-January, but somehow I managed to get four of them today. By mid-afternoon, they were all sold. So, if you want one, now is the time to place your order and as soon as they arrive, I'll send them on to you.
Just for information sake, there are three (3) more pieces to be released in January. One is RHETT (leaning against the column of the plantation porch = $49.99), SCARLETT (in the green drapery dress = $49.99) and one of RHETT & SCARLETT (scene where Scarlett is at the dressing table holding Ashely's photo = $74.99).
