As a way of explanation for those who are wondering ... yes, there have been some publications who have stated that the new video will be available for a M.A.P. price of $19.95. To help you understand what this means, the M (minimum) A (advertised) P (price) means that no one can advertise this video for sale under $19.95. MGM has given us the retail price of $26.95. That is the price it is to be sold for, but as a "come-in", some video stores could sell it BELOW COST at the $19.95. Places such as Sam's Warehouse that buys them by the thousands, can afford to sell them BELOW cost, because they figure once they get you to the store, you will buy many other items that will make up for them selling it below cost. Unfortunately, that does make it tough on normal retail shops who can't buy in groups of thousands. So, in answer to your question as to whether or not you will be able to purchase it from me at $19.95, which would be BELOW my cost, the answer is "No, sorry, but I can't do that". My price will be $26.95.
