Bradford is sending out "feelers" for a new plate series entitled "REFLECTIONS OF SCARLETT". The first plate is to be "Belle of the Barbecue" and shows Scarlett in her famous Twelve Oaks BBQ dress. This plate is round and comes with a figurine of Scarlett in the same dress, which is attached to the plate. Heidi Oberheid is the artist and it looks as though she is a good one!
The Bradford Exchange is not sure at this time how many will be in the series, but so far there are four (4) planned:
1. Belle of the Barbeque - BBQ Dress
2. White Ruffles - White ruffled, opening scene dress
3. Moonlight and Magnolias - Green drapery dress
4. Scarlett's Flame - Burning of Atlanta scene dress
Just for information purposes, these plates can be purchased from GWTW Memories for less than what you can purchase them at Bradford. Because Bradford is a mail-order company, they have to charge sales tax for every state into which they ship. With GWTW Memories, purchases outside of the state of Florida are not subject to sales tax.
