Well, I did everything I knew how to do (popped about 15 Vitamin C pills every day for three weeks) to prevent getting sick while I was at the Clark Gable 100th Birthday Celebration in Cadiz the first weekend in February. Why ... I even went all over the city of Tampa trying to find some female insulated underwear as an extra precaution (did find some!), but that didn't help either. Guess we Southern women just can't leave the 75 degrees weather in winter and go up to the snow and a high of 17 degrees!! Anyway, after 17 days, I am finally back among the living. We all can't live in "paradise" (it was in the mid 80's today), so I am glad you people who live up north enjoy that winter weather. I am now totally convinced that I will NOT be traveling up north anymore in the winter time!!
