Yes, for all of us who have been waiting for GWTW to be released on AUDIO TAPES, the time has come! The set will be put out by Isis Audio Books and will contain 36 cassettes, coming in a 2-volume set. The tapes will run for 43 hours and 15 minutes. Yes, you read correctly -- 43 hours and 15 minutes! The cover will show Rhett and Scarlett in the flaming embrace scene.
There' only one catch .... they won't be released in the United States, only in Great Britain. But, if you have friends in England (lucky me!!), maybe they can get you one and send it to you. Although we are not able to play Britain's VCR tapes on our equipment, we are able to play their audio cassettes. The price ... well, that's something you might want to think about tomorrow -- $160.00 US dollars.
